Time To Put Ewe'r Feet Up! is the pun on this tea towel design. Sheep and hens graze in a field that is skirted with a drystone wall. Rolling hills and cottages fill the background. In the foreground, one of the sheep is laying on it's back with all four hooves pointing skywards. The hooves wear red slippers, and the sheep smokes a pipe. Eccentric behaviour for a sheep!
This design was inspired by the famous paintings of Thomas Joseph who lives in Carrickfergus on the shores of Belfast Lough. Thomas loves to paint whimsical sheep and landscapes.
