Ration Book tea towel with a replica design from the front cover of a World War Two 1944-45 Ministry Of Food ration book. The British government issued ration books at the beginning of 1940 to ensure that everyone received a fair share of food and other items that were often subject to extreme shortages. Fourteen years of food rationing finally ended on the 4th July 1954.
